Bells Review Policy
This seems so formal to write an review policy, but I feel it's completely necessary due to the amount of time it takes to blog and the amazing generosity from creators that send the occasional review item my way. These guidelines are designed to help create a standard and provide consistently in my blogging technique.
Blogging:
I accept review copies and blog all items relating to the virtual world Second Life.
Clothes,Shoes, Hair, Skin, Poses and Animations, vehicles, furniture and homes, Animals and care, Special Events and locations of interest and people of interest.
Yes, I blog anything that relates to Second Life.
All items/Events will get blogged within Three to Four days of the item/notice given. I like to provide accurate reviews of the items and need time to complete a photo and write up.
All items will be seen on my flicker site and given tags, which will be sent to a minimum of three groups including the main Second Life flicker group.
I will also provide Slurls to stores that send review copies. These Slurls will be to the main store. If the store or designer has a blog I will include a link to the site.
Videos:
I also create machinima videos in addition to blogging. If you would like your item to be showcased in a machinima video please send a note card request. Videos will range in time from 30 Seconds-2 minutes depending on the amount of time my schedule permits. These videos take more time than blogging and as a result, I would prefer to have one week-two weeks to work on them. Please have patience as this is a new process I am exploring.
Modeling:
I am available as a model for special events, and posters.
If you would like to use one of my existing photos please ask and provide proper credits, such as my name and a link to my blog and flicker stream.
Special notes:
Most items will get paired up with another designer to be presented in a look of the day; however, I can create an exclusive post upon requests.
I will take great consideration of all items given and apologize if the item/event you sent does not get blogged.
All blog posts will be related to a song, unless requested otherwise.
Thank you Frankie for help me to write the review policy and supporting everything I do in SL.

"Little Star"
This week at my RL job the PTB are making us work overtime, which is both a blessing and a curse at the same time. Yay! for the extra money and job security, boo for the impact it has on my personal life. I've been sitting here at a loss for what to write about in this blog post. Tonight I have no words. I'm just going to post credits... smile and listen to the song "Little Star" by Stina while sipping on a glass of wine.

"Under a Blanket Of Blue" with Amacci and KessKreations
Carina Larsen of Amacci dropped her newest skin on me, and it's pretty. Helen is available in 7 different natural tones and 8 different make up options. My favorite makeup out of the set is Cherry. The lips have a soft pink tint to them as if stained by eating some delicious fruit. The eyeshadow has a tint of blue/gray to it and provides a bit of a sultry appeal while the pink highlighter shadow on top only accents the beauty of the color in the lips. I'm paring this skin with Amacci's eyes all have a great sparkle and shine to them. I don't normally wear blue eyes, but I think it might be something I will try out for a bit.
The Necklace is designed by Kesseret Steeplechase of KessKreations Jewely. The Shelly necklace is available on the Etheria Sim as a collaborative project from some of the best jewelry designers in SL. Shelly is one necklace that caught my eye because of ability to re texture. If you're ever looking for a necklace that is customizable Kess Kreations is the place to shop. All parts of this necklace can be changed: The Metal, Bow, Roses and Gemstones. I think this necklace is wonderful for dressing up a simple outfit giving the right amount of detail without becoming too heavy.

Digital Love....BBBC-Day Three
I'm going to try to keep this post kinda short, because I'm planning on addressing this issue in a later blog post and don't want to become redundant.
How hard do you think it is to find a relationship in SL? If you have an SL relationship, have you met in the physical world? Would you meet them? Do you think it would change your SL relationship if you met?
My SL partner and I meet early in 2007. Before he came along I really didn't venture into the SL dating scene. I'd love to say that we had one of those perfect relationships where we both knew we were meant for one another, but it didn't work out like that. It was complicated, messy and at one point we dated other people in SL, but through it all we remained friends. It wasn't until we started to explore the possibility of meeting in RL that we both finally came clean about how we felt for one another. We meet in RL last summer and realized there was something much than virtual love happening. Did it change my relationship? Yes, for the better.
The time is right to put my arms around you
You're feeling right
You wrap your arms around too
But suddenly I feel the shining sun
Before I knew it this dream was all gone
Ooh I don't know what to do
About this dream and you
I wish this dream comes true
Ooh I don't know what to do
About this dream and you
We'll make this dream come true-Daft Punk-Digital Love

Good Intentions..BBBC day Two
Day Two- Three positive things in your SL.
1. Connecting with people from different aspects of life, in various cultures and social economical statuses. I love that SL is a platform that brings together from all over the world. Some of the greatest people I have had the pleasure of meeting would not have been possible without this virtual world. I've made some real friends through this space and am thankful that SL has been able to create these connections.
2. Charitable donations given by our great community, always bring out the warm fuzzies in me. I love that our community is able to pull together in times of need and share what resources we have with others. Knowing that we are making a difference in someone's life, helping to cause change, to bring awareness is amazing.
3. Creating in Second Life. I've recently started making machinima videos using SL, it's been a fun change from blogging and is something I want to expand upon. I consider this to be a positive aspect of my SL, because it's pushing me to learn new things. To break out from my comfort zone and actually explore SL. I'm not sure where this machinima aspect will take me or how it will enrich my SL, but for now I'm really enjoying the aspect of creating.
It took me a little while to actually come up with this post, not because I don't know how to be a positive person, but because SL is place that is a relaxing environment for me. I don't often think of any bad or good in this world, but rather take it as it comes. There will always be good days, and bad days. People you run into that cause hurt, joy, inspire and to admire. It's just important to remember to keep your head up and focus on the good.

there's little relief
give us reprieve
for all the things i've left behind
i'm positive that i'm not blind
i'm not afraid things won't get better
but it feels like this has gone on forever
you have to cry with your own blue tears
have to laugh with your own good cheer
it's hard to rely on my good intentions
when my head's full of things that i can't mention
seems i usually get things right
but i can't understand what i did last night- Good intentions-Toad the wet sprocket

"Time Won't Let me Go"..BBBC day one...
This is my first time doing the Big Bad Blogger Challenge(BBBC), for one week I will answer questions posted from Alicia Chenaux's blog Ch'Know. Please take the time to sign up if you're a blogger, this seems like it's going to be oodles of fun.
So I've been sitting here in my little blogger corner of SL and thinking about these questions, "Why did I become a Second Life Blogger? How has it enriched your life?"
To answer that question I took a trip back down memory lane and read my first posts from March 2007. They weren't great posts, but explored my Life in SL as a journal. I kinda miss that approach I had to SL. Everyday was an adventure, my feelings or thoughts were not censored and I spoke from the heart. Looking back, I guess I can say I wanted to share my SL with others. I didn't blog about fashion, I had no clue what a fashion blogger was. Over time I branched out.. reading and learning from other bloggers. With high admiration for their work, I took the plunge into the fashion world. I'd really like to find a happy medium of both a journal and fashion blog, but worry that since I've recently placed myself in a "fashion" category it would be hard to change.
My SL and RL have become so closely intertwined over the last three and a half years that my posts often shared what I was dealing with in my RL. Having this blog really helped me when faced with difficult moments such as my grandmother's fight with cancer. Blogging became an outlet for me to share my feelings and to help process the emotional conflicts. Aside from all the emotional aspects of what blogging has done for me. It has also helped to improve upon my photo shopping skills. I used to post snapshots directly from SL, then moved to slight editing in GIMP, Elements, CS and CS4 and now CS5.
Sometimes, I'm in a little bit of a shock when seeing how much growth and an impact blogging has had upon life. Blogging has become a form of expression, a way to relax and improve upon my skills. I'm not an expert, I still hope to learn from my fellow bloggers. I'll always be, "A Jack of all trades and a master of none."
Since I can't break away from the fashion aspect here is today's look...

Whenever I look back
On the best days of my life
I think I saw them all on T.V.
I am so homesick now for
Someone that I never knew

Time won't let me go
If I could do it all again
I'd go back and change everything

Orange Crush
I don't normally pull out the Neko look, but for Sanura Snowpaw, I will. She created these super cute Neko sets for the Black and Blue Fair. I will admit to being somewhat in a funk last week, but these little neko ears and tail managed to lift my spirits. After all how could you not be happy when your dressed as a kitten? Hugs and thank you Sanura for bringing a bit of cheer to my SL world.

Little Boxes
Recently I have been seeing some of my friends and fellow bloggers sharing their SL homes and interior design perfections. It's been quite inspiring seeing everyone's different style and personality come in through their SL living spaces. As someone that is quite the SL hermit my home usually becomes a prop for photos. It's also the location where I spend most of my time while playing SL. (lets face it I don't really have much of a social life outside these walls). I'm not any where near an interior decorator/designer, I just rezz what I like.
I've been working on this home since around Mother's day, when I purchased The Loft's Bago Home in it's entire collection. I then picked apart the home and some aspects of the furniture, until I warped the house into something that was unique and reflected well....me. I just want to say right now this house does not look texture wise what the loft had available, so please don't let my choice of textures stop you from picking up one of their beautiful homes.
My homes over the last years have been sparse with little furniture due to the fact that prims were always an issue, but that has changed with the purchase of a new parcel. Some of the furniture in this new home I've kept in my inventory for several months, perhaps a couple of years. (I'm a pack rat to say the least.) I always managed to pick up an item at a freebie or special event in hopes that one day I would have enough room to rezz them. For me this home is my prim dream come true, one that I've wanted since my noob days but never was able to capture.
I made a little video to show my home, I apologize the video quality sucks with YouTube. I swear it looked like 100 times better on my computer. If you watch the video you will be able to see a piece of my RL Art. "BlueDog PopArt" which hangs proudly on the second floor of the home. Please take the time to watch the video, if you care to leave a comment or have any suggestions for making the machinima video better please let me know. I desperatly want to improve upon my skills.
Hugs and Thank you in Advance.

And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

"Summer Skin"
With temperatures rising it seems summer is already starting to leave it's mark upon us. It's time to break out those shorts, halters and sandals and have some fun in the sun! Roslin Petion of 5th and Oxford is answering the call with her latest release. High-wasted shorts, halter tops and high-wasted pencil skirts (not shown), have a retro... not outdated feeling to them. This collection is casual, beautifully crafted and adds a new twist to a summer staple.
So do you want to know what my favorite part of this outfit? It's the buttons on the shorts. I love where they are positioned along the front of the Seaside Sweetie Shorts. The shading and seams also make for a really great look adding depth and a sense of realism to this design. I'm also fan of the halter top back. Personally I think a woman's back is a very sexy part of her body, much more than other areas. The right top can really embellish this area while leaving something to the imagination. Finding the right skin is also essential, which is why I choose to wear Exodi for this look.
