Tomorrow the Hair Fair opens and I’ve been granted a sneak peek. I have to share what I've seen. If you’ve never been to the hair fair I totally suggest you visit. Its quite a sight to see so many vendors come together for such a worthy cause. 

 

The charity associated with this fair is, "Wigs for Kids". Wigs For Kids is a nonprofit organization that helps children suffering from hair loss stemming
from chemotherapy, radiation therapy, alopecia, trichotillomania, burns, and other medical
causes. 

Here’s the info for the upcoming fair.
1. The Hair Fair will run from June 25th-July 10th. Six sims in total will make up the fair.
2. Each designer has an exclusive item released for this fair with a portion of the proceeds benefiting wigs for kids
3. Accessories- bandanas, hats and hares are available with proceeds going to wigs for kids.
4. Gifts, there are several designer gifts available.

Now if you are wanting demos I strongly encourage you to join the Hair Fair Demo Group. This way you can get all your pre-shopping done before you arrive at the fair. If you plan on going to the hair fair with friends you can rezz a prim bus to take around the sim. that way your friends get to shop together.

The vintage fair is still underway which means there are only six more shopping days left. The vintage fair will close on 06/20/2022 so make sure you head on down before it the exclusive items are no longer available.

Today's look is all about fun day in the sun. I’m wearing Entice's dress Fame. What I like about this dress is the color options that are available. I have the mega fatpack which included 50 different patterns. I feel this dress is perfect for summer. I’ve been wearing this outfit for a few days in SL because I like it so much. I know this dress will be a go-to casual wear for summer 2022.

Next I’m using a pose from BellePoses, Material Girl. Material Girl is available as an exclusive item for the Vintage Fair. It comes complete with 7 poses and additional Boombox.

Ventura Highway

The Vintage Fair is officially open! YAY! before I get into today's post lets talk a little about the Vintage Fair. There are two Sims, Vintage Fair North and South. There are over 100 designers who have come together to bring you the vintage fair. I'm enclosing the map for the Sims at the bottom of the post today. Please make sure you visit the Vintage Fair before its gone. 

MOoh! has released a groovy skirt and top outfit called Kashi. This outfit is so well done. The mesh fits perfectly. Kashi is available in six different colors. I love how carefree this outfit feels. 

Next, I’m showcasing a pose from The Elephant Tree, Here comes the sun. This pose set is designed for two avatars and is perfect for friend photos. 

Finally is a bus from Death Row Designs. DRD really pulled all the stops out for this set. There is so much I’m not showing in my photo. It’s definitely worth taking a trip to the Vintage Fair.

Bad Guy...Duh!

I’m posting in my unmentionables today to show you something truly mention-able from Endless Pain Tattoos and Rebel Poses. but first! The vintage fair opens tomorrow! I'm so excited to see the fair come together and become open for the public. To help showcase items from the fair myself and fellow Silly Llama bloggers have been working this week to complete blog posts. If you are curious you can few our collaborated efforts on the Silly Llama Flickr group. hopefully, you will see something that captures your eye and will draw you to the fair. now on to the items.

Endless Pain's tattoo Lola is so well done.This tattoo features a full sleeve made up of a 1920s girl and other rockabilly symbols. I absolutely love it. Lola is made for Legacy and Omega appliers which left out Maitreya, but not to worry with the use of the Omega applier I was able to convert the tattoo for my body type. (There is an additional applier you would have to purchase from Omega to get this working on Maitreya, blog post soon to follow on the Omega Applier)

I'm also showing another designer from the Vintage fair, Rebel Poses. Rebel Poses has created a motorcycle set called Jailhouse Rock. Just like you imagine Fonzie from Happy Days or Danny Zuckko from Grease posing with their motorcycle; Jailhouse rock features a motorcycle and 5 different poses. Rebel Poses has created some exclusive pose sets which are great for creating retro photos.

Luxurious

 Today's look is inspired by 80s fashion.

Clef de Peau is a store that I'm familiar with, so it was no surprise that their contribution to the Vintage Fair would be phenomenal. I decided to keep my look simple today by sticking to sequins black, but there are 20 different fabric colors (in the fat pack) that can be changed on this dress. I was overwhelmed by all the options available. My photo does not due justice to all the customization on this dress. The colors are rich, deep and very much in tune with the 80's. the 80s Dress comes with two different sized skirts. I'm wearing the Kinky Skirt which is a micro mini bottom. There are no undergarments built into the design so micro mini means there is some skin that will show.

I'm also showcasing jewelry from Bilesen and Poema's eye shadow. Bilesen has created a gold jewelry set named, Audrey. Audrey is complete with Earrings, Necklace and broach (not shown). Poema is releasing a set of eye shadows named Mlle. Aimee. There are a total of 12 different shadows.  These eye shadows are subdued perfect to bring just enough color without being too overwhelming.

Have you ever had one of those moments when your heart skips a beat in a good way? Well that happened to me when I saw Addicted Apothecary. I knew immediately that I would be blogging these exclusive shoes. Addicted Apothecary is a new store for me. I’m so thrilled that I found it. Thanks Vintage Fair! 

Quality wise these shoes have been beautifully crafted. Small details like the mini skull on the clasp and embroidery texture of the shoes show that great care and skill was used to craft these shoes. I was drawn to the teal color and the sharp knife heel. Tattoo Baby brings a bit of edge to any outfit, making your feet the center of attention. Addicted Apothecary has released a total of four shoes for the Vintage Fair as exclusive items. If you're a shoe fanatic and want something different I suggest you get a pair of these heels.

Hurricanes

Today's post is a tea party look. The vintage fair is brewing some deliciously designed treats for you. Belle Epoque has created a beautiful drop waist dress, Coco. Coco is available in 16 different colors and works with the Maitreya, Petite, Legacy and Perky. What I find so enticing about this dress are the ruffles and bows. Coco is reminiscent of a flapper style dress, but has a modern feel to it.  

I decided to feature two other items from the vintage fair, eyes and hair. Goldie hair from Spot On is a short cropped bob cut. It was inspired by Goldie Hawn's hair during her time on Laugh-in. I think its totally cute. Goldie is available in 12 natural colors. Banana Banshee's exclusive item are eyes available with LeLutka and Catwa appliers. There are a total of six different bold eye colors. The left and right eye can be changed individually which allows the option to have two different eye colors.

Today I'm showcasing a tiny sneak peek from the Vintage Fair 2022. Katriss Ravenhurst of RavenCreation has created 10 eye shadows as an exclusive Vintage Fair item. Bridget's (eyeshadow) vibrant colors bring pizzazz to your lids. My favorite thing about this set are the little jewels that encrust the outer edge of the eye. This small detail adds character to the makeup set. Bridget is available for Lelutka Evo and EvoX.

 
I'm still sorting through my inventory and creating looks so there will be more from the Vintage fair soon. I've found inspiration seeing all the stores pop up; each day I'm finding new items I can't wait to blog.

About Damn Time

 I'm super excited to post today because BeSpoke and Silly Llama Productions are collaborating to bring the Vintage Fair 2022 into Second Life. The Vintage Fair will be open from June 10 until June 20th, so don't delay your visit.

 I've managed to make my way through the fair already and I have to say if you are a fan of vintage this is fair you don't want to miss. You can tell a lot of effort and love has gone into this fair; close to 150 designers are going to be participating in this event. I have been dazzled by all the designers and their efforts. I can't wait to take the next few days to post some of the goodies I found. I want to note that everything at the vintage fair will be themed pre-1990s which gives a pretty broad definition to the word Vintage. Also, there are exclusive items which mean limited edition goodies available during this fair.
