 Wishing you the warmest and merriest of Christmas. 

This year I'm making gingerbread cookies similar to the ones featured in this post. 100 percent homemade cookies filled with love and sugar. I am so excited to make these little cookies this year. They will be an overabundance of cookies in my home, mostly because I live alone and work from home, but I plan on freezing them and enjoying through the year. I will post some photos on my Flickr if you get curious about what may be a Pintrest fail. Promise even if they are a total wreck I will post them. Now that I've gotten some RL Christmas stuff outta the way lets talk about SL Goodies.

Holy Smokes! it's October which means its time for my favorite time of year, Fall. Since this month is also the birth of Halloween and Breast Cancer Awareness I've decided to try my best to highlight the designers I'm working with in a for the Out Shop Cancer Event in a "spooky" way.

Today's look is centered around this stunning red dress from, Allure Couture. I had the great pleasure of running into ReneBroux, this week at the launch of the Out Shop Cancer event. She's extremely nice and her items that she are donating for this worthy cause are beautiful, a work of art in my humble opinion. She has made sure to place her kiosks right outside her shop so it's very easy to find the items she has donated. Allure Couture will be donating all proceeds from 7 designs: Alexis Bolero Dress in Red, (shown above) Caitlin Gown in Lilac and Slone Mini Skirt in Rose all all designed for ladies. The two other designs she has brought to the table are specifically designed for men and Match the ladies outfits. If you're interested in becoming a Twinkie with your significant otter then this store might be for you. La Hora para Cenar

Es La Hora Para Cenar or Dinner Time, Today's post is highlighting the Hispanic side of my RL self. Yes, boys and girls for those who do not know know Bells is actually Hispanic in RL. I fell head over heels with collaborative work from The Bearded Guy and Infinity Looks. Their "Around the world" set is reminiscent of a very important hour, Dinner Time. El Comedor comes complete with a table chairs decorative mosaic background and clock on the wall. It's ideal for anyone who would like to capture a family meal.

I'm showcasing a few other goodies from The Second Change Sale, AZUL's - Epie dress in Ruby is one of my favorite out of this month's collection and a pose fromSaddy's Sweet Poses, Motorcycle Momma. The unboxing of this pose set is particularly adorable if you are into unicorns. Just so much <3 br="">

Now, I want to talk about a small Spanish pet peeve of mine. In my nuclear family Spanish was not spoken. We didn't grow up speaking it. (in my family aside from my grandparents.) I understand a lot more than I can speak and I can read the language. (I'm embarrassed by my non accented pronunciation of the words and I have been ridiculed about it my whole life. Trust me native Spanish speakers will give you looks if you fail at correctly pronouncing words.) so back to my point, I promise I have one.

Today's post all started from something I watched from the ladies of Buzz feed, who decided to recreate famous playboy covers. This got me thinking..."If I were to recreate a Playboy Cover which one would it be?" A quick google search lead me to a Russian issue of Playboy that really resonated with me. Since my surname happens to be Russian in it's origin I thought it was perfect.

Of course I had to change up the cover a little, just to be a little unique. I tried my best to recreate with the limitation of my skills. I don't think it's too far off.

Let Me Be Your Girl

.....And if it pleased you. I would grow you an entire garden filled with tomatoes. 

 The weather in my part of the world has shifted from cold snowy weather to warmer sunshine days. It isn't a constant part of our lives at the moment, but the days where we have bits of sunshine have been extremely nice. This weather has me longing for tomatoes. (I know. weird) but recently I can't get enough of them. I found myself buying a few giant tomatoes at the store this weekend and I know they will be eaten promptly topped with balsamic vinegar and salt. 

I've been so tomato inspired that I had to create an entire garden. One day, I'd love to have a place where I can grow tomatoes in the summer and eat them fresh from the vine. If you have never experienced that simple pleasure of life you are missing out. There really is nothing quite like picking your own fruit and serving it on your table or sharing with others. Until I get the opportunity to cultivate my own garden, I'm going to have to be content with the one I've created in Second Life.

Waiting for Godet

They say waiting is half the battle, but what if like Godet it never arrives?

Lorelai Bonetto, owner of Preptopia was kind enough to drop off her latest creation, Old Hollywood on me. I've taken the Old Hollywood dress out for a test drive and well I have to say that I quite pleased with it. Old Hollywood comes complete with several sizing options from XXS to Large. There is  fitted mesh option which means that you will be able keep your unique shape and still look pretty in Preptopia. Old Hollywood has a total of 9 color options and even had a HUD option for additional customization.

Collab88 totally managed to capture my heart again....and pretty soon you might see me SL homeless because I managed to spend all my lindens at this round, but at least I'll have a killer pair of shoes to sport. Not only did I pick up shoes but I also purchased a body suit from one of my SL staple stores Nylon Outfitters.

So, let's get into the details..this time lets start at the bottom and work our way up. CandyDoll released the Esme Boots and they are totally stunning. A hybrid between thigh high fishnets and heels Esme will draw attention to your gorgeous gams. I chose to pair these boots with a high waisted skirt from Pixicat.

Another great find from Collab 88 is Nylon Outfitters Lace Bodysuit. I love the open back and intricate weaving across the shoulders and front. This round of Collab88 is one that is worth visiting. So many cute items to purchase.

With Valentine's day approaching next month, I decided to get the jump and start blogging all the pretty hues of red, white and pink....cause you know that's the traditional colors that we use to express Amore or Love. Today's look is an homage to cupid, if you notice I'm wearing wings.

During a recent trip to Uber I was twitterpated, by Paper Arrow's, breezy dress. I fell so hard for this dress that actually ended up buying it in several different colors, because it's so cute...how could I not. Some of the great features about Paper's Arrow's dress is that  you can customize the top portion which means a total of 20 different color options. Personally tend to stick to a monochromatic look from head to toe, but with Paper Arrow's, breezy dress there are.....options for styling. One of the things I enjoy the most about this dress is the smooth texture that give the illusion of silk or softness. Breezy truly does live up to it's name because it feels as if it would fly off on it's own. Paper Arrow is a new store to me, but will be one that I am visiting more often.

Now, I want to point attention to the feet. Candy Doll, created a set of shoes that were available for the Epiphany Gacha Event. Now, I had to say...I had shoe envy, which is why I bought these shoes. It seemed like all my friends had the fashion jump and were sporting them weeks before I jumped on board. CandyDoll's shoes come complete with a multi-color changing hud. 6 aspects of this wedge can be changed and customized to match almost any outfit.

The ROMP Fair has opened it's doors once again and this round is just as fantastic as the last. I'll probably be posting a few more risque' photos in my upcoming posts as I make my way though all the goodies from the fair.

Today, I'm showcasing a very naughty lingerie set from Pepe. I honestly couldn't resist purchasing this set when I saw the vendor ad. The Darling Bra and Latex Harness set is the ultimate combination of a seductive flirt. So naturally, I decided it would be the perfect outfit to wear as introduction to this round's ROMP fair. Pepe's lingerie set works with the Maitreya mesh body, which is fantastic for those of us who love mesh bodies.

I decided to pair the lingerie with some additional accessories I picked up from Muka. Muka's Alia Set comes complete with arm bands and a collar. Cherry Bomb!

I have to admit I was a little excited to see Luxuria's, release for ROMP's Summer Fair, the moment I saw it I knew I would be blogging it. Luxuria has once again managed to capture my heart with a fierce and sexy lingerie set. Sakura, is almost guaranteed to command attention. You can really see the work and dedication that was given in creating this little number. The soft smooth silk along the bust line and trim of panty; the intricate pattern that flows across the body and if you look even closer you can see stitching along the bra bottom. Sakura is 100% compatible with Maitreya Mesh Body because Luxuria includes appliers which make dressing and undressing oh so easy. It's a dream come true for this girl. Now, I know I'm posting this a tad early because ROMP's Summer fair has yet to open, so pardon the tease. If you can wait, you too can get your hands on Sakura. El Toro! Ole!

Yesterday I finally managed to make a trip to collab88 to see this month's goodies. I instantly fell for R2 Fashion's release, Metallic Dress and Knee High Boots.

This outfit reminded me of a militant style ready to command. The buttons down the front all lined up in a row, the sweeping of the skirt and of course, one cannot forget the high white collar. The back of this dress is a beautiful open back embellished with straps which provides a risque combination of skin. The knee high boots reach all the way to your upper thigh which will make for some really fun and interesting pairing with other outfits. Both of R2 Fashion's releases are 100% mesh allowing you to move fluidly in any pose.

I chose to pair this outfit with Pididdle's flower to give the entire look a softer more feminine touch.  This entire look makes me feel confident. Almost as if I could stop a bull in it's tracks.

Caravan Nights

  During the Summer it seems the only relief I can get from the heat is at night when the temperature dips. These cooler temperatures feel like heaven because for a couple of hours everything is in a balance. The night brings a certain stillness, where a quiet whisper can be heard and sleeping is almost impossible at this divine time. Swaying in the moonlight becomes a must and one can't help but dance to song of summer.

Fit to be Tied

Bells Boutique has released a new outfit "Fit to be Tied" which is a Corset/Bodysuit. "Fit to Be Tied" is released in 8 vibrant colors. Each lingerie set is 75L and the Skittles Pack (fat pack) is 450L.  Included is an optional prim skirt and necklace.

Reflecting on Bells Boutique-
A long time ago before I started blogging I used to make clothing in Second Life. It was something that interested me when I was a new resident. I wanted to learn so badly, so I attended classes at NCI. The first class I took taught me how to upload a texture and then edit in SL Appearance to make shirts, skirts, pants. Ect. My first designs were ugly, crude, the word primitive definitely comes to mind when I think about early works.

My little store grew and I learned new techniques and skills. I started with Gimp, then moved on to Photoshop elements until I was gifted Photoshop CS and a whole package of Adobe goodies from a classmate in RL. As RL brought inevitable changes I found I had less time and interest in designing until slowly stopped creating in SL. As my Fourth Rezz day approaches I have started to review my little trip down SL. I've decided that I would like to focus back on what I first loved in SL, Clothing Creation.



My little store has always been sort of a passing hobby and way to learn. I don't think I could ever be someone with great talent in clothing design; but I will continue to create because it's fun, a challenge and gives me a sense of personal satisfaction. My clothing will never be perfect and part of me will always feel as if it's inadequate. I will admit to feeling that small twinge of failure or invisibility that some SL content creators fall into. I made sales yes, but my tiny store was never blogged by anyone other than myself. I never knew about review copies or marketing. My blog wasn't even on the feeds. I have set aside a couple of personal goals for myself for the next six months, hopefully I can achieve these small milestones.

"Fit to Be Tied", is actually one of the first personal challenges I have completed. With this design I have managed to hand draw all elements, I refused to use brushes. I also learned how to make multiple colors of one design. Finally, I created a new template for store signs. Hopefully I can improve upon these techniques and make my next release better. Please stay tuned for new releases and as always if you have any feedback please let me know how to improve upon my store.

"La La Love" with Ooh La La

The other night I was walking along Tableau and found a store that totally caught my eye. It's called Ooh La La, which became the answer for the new lingerie hunt I was on. I immediately went into this cute lingerie boutique and purchased a couple of sets. Ooh La La is created by Nylon Pinkney, a total Fashion Guru.  I really hope Nylon continues creating more lingerie, perhaps costumes?....I can dream right?

Currently there is a total of 4 different Lingerie sets. The Betty Body Suit, Candy Body Suit (Shown above), Veronica Bows Set, and Lacy Slip (Shown below). All are moderately priced and do not exceed $150L, the quality surpasses the price. In addition, there are 11 stockings and 3 garter clips in the collection.
