Today's post all started from something I watched from the ladies of Buzz feed, who decided to recreate famous playboy covers. This got me thinking..."If I were to recreate a Playboy Cover which one would it be?" A quick google search lead me to a Russian issue of Playboy that really resonated with me. Since my surname happens to be Russian in it's origin I thought it was perfect.

Of course I had to change up the cover a little, just to be a little unique. I tried my best to recreate with the limitation of my skills. I don't think it's too far off.

Well It looks like I'm back to blogging for now. I can't stay away from this part of Second Life because I find it's such a creative outlet for me. So let's look at what I'm wearing today, sigh...I know it isn't much,but that's the fun of blogging...showing off my unmentionables.

Today I'm wearing Zaara's Chanchal Lingerie in Mocha. Zaara's lingerie comes complete with appliers which lay directly against the skin. Zaara has been a favorite designer of mine for many years so you can imagine how much I love lounging around in this set. The lingerie set comes complete with stockings, garter belt, panties and lace bra.

Next I want to highlight Erratic's Allure Satin robe in midnight. This robe is totally cute and dar I say sexy. It comes complete with a hud that will allow you to have it open or closed. I prefer the open flasher option as I can give you all glimps of my lingerie.

I've taken a little blogger hiatus over the last couple of month. Things sometimes become a bit too much for me and I have difficult focusing; however, I'm back at it. Blogging in SL has and will always be something I love and no matter how long I might stay away I always find myself being pulled back into it.

The main reason why I'm getting back into blogging is because of the ROMP winter fair. I've been enjoying exploring the naughty side of SL again and I'm going to be snapping a few photos to showcase the goodies I have picked up from ROMP's fair.

Today I'm highlighting Salt and Pepper's Harness, Grace. Grace is totally sheer, flirty and will get hearts racing. This harness isn't a typical BDSM outfit, but rather is soft, light and demure. Some of the best features of this harness are tied into the HUD design which allows you to have some flexibility in the color dept. Salt and Pepper's Hud has several different options that you can customize: Leather, Lace the Rings and even Chains can all be changed. Grace is available in several different sizes and will fit the Maitreya, slink and hourglass body. As a special promotion Salt and Pepper has reduced the price of Grace to 20% so now is a good time to head over to ROMP and pick up this lingerie set.

I'm also showcasing another lovely item from ROMP, the, "goodnight bed" from Hive has become my new favorite place to lounge in my home. Truth be told I kinda have a princess and the pea syndrome and it does transition into SL as well. I have pretty high standards for my bedding in RL and SL. I absolutely adore the intricate design of the headboard the bed has different options available for singles and couples. Hive has given the Goodnight bed the ability to be customized so it can match almost any decor.

Seven Wonders- My 400th Blog Post

First off, Let me say this my 400th blog post. I am so thrilled to be posting because, it's a milestone I never thought I would hit. Which makes me wonder if I will get to make it to post 500. If you want to see how I marked my 300th please feel free to take a peak into the archives.

Today's post is totally inspired by American Horror story's season 3, Coven. I am a really big fan of the TV show and Season 3 is my absolute favorite. I loved the story line as well as the costumes each character wore during that season. Something about the New Orleans southern vibe really appealed to me. I do have to admit that I have visited New Orleans a few times over my life and each time has always been a fun filled adventure. So perhaps, some small part of me was a little reminiscent over the trips I had in the past which helped tie into my love of that season. 

Today, I'm attempting to pull off my best teenage witchy look. I actually purchased most of these goodies at Collab88. This month's theme is, "Muted Coven", hence the Coven reference up above. I kinda imagine that this outfit would be something that a teenage or junior witch would wear during her time at school. So, let's take a peek at what I'm wearing starting from the top and working our way down.

Ison has created the ultimate little black witch dress. The Occult Dress, is currently one of my favorite things in my inventory. Ison didn't stop at just creating this dress; however, there is also a shear jacket made to match and enhance the dress. Both are quite fun to pair together or wear separately. I think I may be wearing this dress a lot as we roll into Fall. (or at least through Halloween.)

I've paired Ison's LBD with CandyDoll's Arabella Boots. I totally fell hard for these boots when I saw the vendor ad. Something about a thigh high piece of leather just appealed to me. I feel these boots are a perfect accessory to bring extra attention. CandyDoll's boots are very well made. They are mesh and fit perfectly with the Maitreya mesh body. One of the things I absolutely adore about these boots are the buckle straps because they give the illusion of wearing garters. Which are a little sexy in nature.

I also picked up a few pose props from Collab88. Purple Poses has created a series of Witchy type pose sets. The Cauldron and Broom I'm using in my photos are part of Purple poses series. I know these pose sets will be ones that I will be using in upcoming photos as we approach Halloween.

Ride of the Valkyries

Much of my knowledge of Valkyries comes from a bugs bunny cartoon. I know, totally lame but it's true. I really had no knowledge of the folklore of Valkyries; however, after some handy wiki searching. (which I know is such a reliable source of information.) I was able to discover that Valkyries played an important role on the combat field. According to folklore they choose half of the men who died in battle to be carried away to Valhalla. While the other half we sent to the goddess Freyja. I imagine, that there was some type of qualifying system to choose these men. What would would make man worthy of entering Valhalla? Well that's a question that is beyond me and must be answered by Valkyries only.

Today, I am portraying the role of Valkyrie and it's all thanks to Glam Affair who pulled out all the stops in designing their new head dress for We Love Role play. I absolutely adore this headpiece. The details alone are pretty remarkable. The wings are beautifully sculpted and while it is ornate in it's design there is still a simplicity which beautiful.

I'm also showcasing a semi new skin. Now, it's taken me a little bit of time to post this new skin because I wanted to make sure I properly took the time to examine the details. As I mentioned in my previous post Uber is showcasing some sports themed goodies and Glam Affair's Ballerina Skin by far the most gorgeous I have worn. It is available in 6 different makeup options all which help prep you for any look which you might want to dazzle in for the night; from a Glam evening look, to a Club scene Queen or even a Natural Beauty. Sexy and I know it.....

Uber, is currently showcasing some Sports themed goodies and it is perfect for anyone who has a love of sports. I personally, am horrible at sports. How bad? Well, let me tell you about a time I was recruited to join a company volley ball team. I resisted at first knowing my shortcomings, but my co-workers were persistent and eventually I relented my stance and allowed myself to get wrangled on the team. (You can probably guilt me into doing anything.) I joined the team and after the first practice they discovered I couldn't actually serve the ball in a strait line. So, I was assigned the role of Cheerleader. Truth be told, I was a little relieved because every time I tried to serve the ball it somehow ended up behind me into the bushes. I'm really uncoordinated and clumsy in case you haven't noticed. 

Rather than use a candid sports theme photo. I decided to create a video to showcase the items from Uber. Since the goodies I picked up from Uber are a little sexy in nature I decided to use the song, "Sexy and I know it" from LFMAO in the video. I know totally silly, but after all that is what SL is for. She Said.....

After what felt like an eternity I finally managed to make my way into Collab88. (It was really only little over a week, but in SL time that does feel like an eternity.) What I found when I TPed in didn't disappoint me but rather lifted my spirits. This round of Collab88 is fantastic, I really can't fan girl enough about it. I now know why it took so long to actually get into the sim. There is just an abundant of things to look at. I must have spent a little over an hour looking through all the vendors and making my first round of choices. I promise you won't be disappointed visiting.

The moment I saw LODE's face accessory it brought to mind the image of Collective Soul's album cover, Dosage. So today's post is inspired by that image; instead of butterflies the Collective Soul album had bees falling out of a woman's mouth. So I am trying my best to invoke that image in today's post.

Birthday Wishes

I closed my eyes blew out the candle and wished....for ....you.....

My RL birthday is today and I've just turned 33. I have to admit it, I'm really not feeling it this year. Don't get me wrong I've had my share of Birthday good wishes. My family took me out to dinner and work colleagues were especially nice. I feel thankful to have these people in my life; yet I can't help but feel that there is something missing. That little spark that gets you through the day; that special person that lets you know it's ok. Not that I need someone; but it's sure nice to have. Tonight I have Taylor Swift's, "Begin again" on repeat because it is a reminder that I'm hopeful that I might be able begin again. After all, if I can say that I have learned anything over the last year, it is this... I'm resilient and able to endure....even if I get a little lost from time to time.

Cherry Bomb!

I have to admit I was a little excited to see Luxuria's, release for ROMP's Summer Fair, the moment I saw it I knew I would be blogging it. Luxuria has once again managed to capture my heart with a fierce and sexy lingerie set. Sakura, is almost guaranteed to command attention. You can really see the work and dedication that was given in creating this little number. The soft smooth silk along the bust line and trim of panty; the intricate pattern that flows across the body and if you look even closer you can see stitching along the bra bottom. Sakura is 100% compatible with Maitreya Mesh Body because Luxuria includes appliers which make dressing and undressing oh so easy. It's a dream come true for this girl. Now, I know I'm posting this a tad early because ROMP's Summer fair has yet to open, so pardon the tease. If you can wait, you too can get your hands on Sakura. Summer Love

Summer time always seems like the perfect time of year to throw caution to the wind and have an adventure. The days are longer nights seem filled with activities and it's that time of year when people find that oh so popular Summer Love. For me, summer love hit me like a ton of brick and it's all because of Foxes and Teefy.

For today's look I took a little trip back to Collab88 for some summer treats. Everything I'm wearing in today's post is from this month's Collab88. I had been looking for a mesh bikini that works with the Mariteya mesh body and Foxes, Summer Love bikini top and jacket fit the bill perfectly. Teefy, another favorite store of mine has a pair of shorts in this month's Colab88 which also matches the Mariteya body well. I couldn't be more pleased with how this whole look came together.  I hope you take some time to head over to Collab88 and take a peek at all the goodies available. This month's theme is filled with vibrant, fun hues which are perfect for capturing the feel of Summer. Truth be told the color scheme it reminds me of Ottor Pops, (they are Popsicle for those who don't know) which are perfect for hot nights that you find nestled within summer.

Sixteen

 This whole post was inspired by something I read called, "You know you went to high school in the late 90s when.." I've included the link above for anyone who might be interested in reading it over. I have to admit I became a little reminiscent of the "glory days" after reading it over. There are so many in that list that I checked off.

Today's look is all about what I wore during the awkward teen years. It is the teen version of my style. When I think about the style I had during my teens this outfit pretty much sums it up, down to the boots. so let's take a moment to go over what I'm wearing from top to bottom.

Collab88 had some fantastic treats that were the perfect accompaniment to highlighting 90s style. a majority of the items I am wearing today are from this month's Collab88's round. Starting off with Elikatira's hair Lena. Now, I purchased a fat pack of Lena which included every hair color in this style, which is very unusual for me. I tend to stick with browns only; however Elikatira has done such a great job with the funky colors I couldn't resist and purchased the entire lot rather than trying to make up my mind on just one color.

Another great item I picked up at Collab88 is this Uber cute Skater Dress from Nylon Outfitters. It seems that no girl's wardrobe was complete without a spaghetti strap dress and of course a plain white t-shirt underneath. Nylon's design perfectly captures the skater girl dress trend, down to the flower print that was oh so popular. Dare I say that it is an iconic dress.

Finally, lets get down to the shoes. I used to have a pair of black combat style boots, and I think i might have tried to pair them with everything. My family used to refer to them as Frankenstein shoes. They had a platforms of course. (I'm a short in RL) but i digress, I loved those shoes and wore them until the plastic sole cracked...and even a little after. Friday's Juliette Boot was as close to the design that i could find within my inventory.

Purple Haze

It seems everyone right now has Arcade gacha fever, which means you can totally hit up Uber and pick up some goodies with lag free shopping. I made the trek to Uber yesterday and picked up some cute items to add to my overflowing inventory. Today's look is inspired by Uber's theme this month which is, "Spice"....No, not Spice girls, but think more along the lines of spicy, hot and totally tempting. I decided to play up the purple and gold hues I found in Nylon Outfitters Tunic, Elephant. The main reason I picked this tunic is because of the color, what can I say I'm a sucker for pink/lavender hues. Nylon's Tunic feels soft and flowy. It highlights an asymmetric cut along the bottom of the dress which is perfect in living into the, "Spice" theme. I paired this spicy tunic with a pair of gold gladiator sandals from Pure shoes, a little treasure in my inventory. They call me....Semyorka, Bells Semyorka and I like my drinks shaken not stirred. Ok, ok I'm totally kidding, but today's look is totally inspired by a spy type movie. More specifically, True Lies and Jamie Lee's character, Helen Tasker. You know she had that sultry sleek look after her transformation into a spy.

I recently took a trip to Uber and picked up this sleek black dress from Ryvolter, Elen Plunge. What I really like about this dress it the low cut front and back. I feel it captures the perfect look of a femme fatale. The Elen Plunge dress is available in several different colors to align with Uber's theme this month is Miami. The entire collection of designers, and creations is great and it shouldn't be missed.
