Jeepers! I did not expect to have so much fun with The Arcade this month, but low in behold I'm posting again. Actually, I knew I would be blogging Bad Unicorn when I saw a sneak peak at the vendor on a friend's FB page. I really wanted a mini SUV. (I have a collection of mini vehicles.)

Bad Unicorn's, "Big Kid Gacha" immediately made me think..Barbie Jeep Racing! Now, I'm not sure if you have ever been privy to seeing, "Barbie Jeep Racing", but if you haven't I totally suggest you do. (it's a sport, apparently.) But enough of Bells' Ramblings lets pop the clutch and change gears slightly.

Big Kid Gacha comes complete with 17 collectible Big Kid family friendly toys. It's like all the toys you wanted as a kid but could never actually get. Racing Car Beds?! They got that! Jungle Gym?! Look no further. Have a hankering for some cookies?? Well, this is one place where you can get your hands caught IN the cookie jar. Super Cute items and totally FUN.

Now, I did end up spending quite a few lindens trying to get a Jeep. I visited the Arcade a total of three separate times in an attempt to win. One thing I can suggest when purchasing Gachas is be patient, you may have to return several times before getting what you really want. Remember kiddos, the gachas are randomly generated and the possibilities of rares to regular items are reduced. (i.e, more regular that rare possibilities.)

I had a blast taking this photo up above. For me, dressing up and accessorizing is a huge part of Second Life. I guess you would classify me into the, "Not Quite a Role Player". I love the thug life, but can't commit to it. If you happen to have a night out on the town and have room for one more jeeper in your posse give me a shout out. I'd love to be part of a street gang. Imagine it now...."They see us rolling...." well, you catch the drift.

That's how I know

Collab88 totally managed to capture my heart again....and pretty soon you might see me SL homeless because I managed to spend all my lindens at this round, but at least I'll have a killer pair of shoes to sport. Not only did I pick up shoes but I also purchased a body suit from one of my SL staple stores Nylon Outfitters.

So, let's get into the details..this time lets start at the bottom and work our way up. CandyDoll released the Esme Boots and they are totally stunning. A hybrid between thigh high fishnets and heels Esme will draw attention to your gorgeous gams. I chose to pair these boots with a high waisted skirt from Pixicat.

Another great find from Collab 88 is Nylon Outfitters Lace Bodysuit. I love the open back and intricate weaving across the shoulders and front. This round of Collab88 is one that is worth visiting. So many cute items to purchase.

Limoncino

I ran into a long time friend of mine recently, Mira Questi and she had me reminiscing about that time we met in Italy and had lunch and Gelatto. Goodness, how time flown and how so many things have changed since then.

One of the things I miss most about living in Italy is taking moonlight drives through the Cinque Terra which usually lead to stopping into a little bar and having a drink. Limoncino, of course was a drink of choice. I actually adore all thing Lemon flavored something about the citrus that just makes my mouth pucker, but in a good way. I loved the sea and seeing the spider cables across the mountains as each twist and turn on the road unfolded. It made the whole experience so enchanting and added an element of danger which will never be forgotten. 

Today, I'm sporting some delicious lemon treats from Tres Blah. Tres Blah has a series of cute Summer themed shirts out for sale at Collab88. I even pick up this a pair of shorts from Nylon Outfitters to wear to compliment the top. It's a perfect casual summer look for where ever you might find yourself.

Sixteen

 This whole post was inspired by something I read called, "You know you went to high school in the late 90s when.." I've included the link above for anyone who might be interested in reading it over. I have to admit I became a little reminiscent of the "glory days" after reading it over. There are so many in that list that I checked off.

Today's look is all about what I wore during the awkward teen years. It is the teen version of my style. When I think about the style I had during my teens this outfit pretty much sums it up, down to the boots. so let's take a moment to go over what I'm wearing from top to bottom.

Collab88 had some fantastic treats that were the perfect accompaniment to highlighting 90s style. a majority of the items I am wearing today are from this month's Collab88's round. Starting off with Elikatira's hair Lena. Now, I purchased a fat pack of Lena which included every hair color in this style, which is very unusual for me. I tend to stick with browns only; however Elikatira has done such a great job with the funky colors I couldn't resist and purchased the entire lot rather than trying to make up my mind on just one color.

Another great item I picked up at Collab88 is this Uber cute Skater Dress from Nylon Outfitters. It seems that no girl's wardrobe was complete without a spaghetti strap dress and of course a plain white t-shirt underneath. Nylon's design perfectly captures the skater girl dress trend, down to the flower print that was oh so popular. Dare I say that it is an iconic dress.

Finally, lets get down to the shoes. I used to have a pair of black combat style boots, and I think i might have tried to pair them with everything. My family used to refer to them as Frankenstein shoes. They had a platforms of course. (I'm a short in RL) but i digress, I loved those shoes and wore them until the plastic sole cracked...and even a little after. Friday's Juliette Boot was as close to the design that i could find within my inventory.

Purple Haze

It seems everyone right now has Arcade gacha fever, which means you can totally hit up Uber and pick up some goodies with lag free shopping. I made the trek to Uber yesterday and picked up some cute items to add to my overflowing inventory. Today's look is inspired by Uber's theme this month which is, "Spice"....No, not Spice girls, but think more along the lines of spicy, hot and totally tempting. I decided to play up the purple and gold hues I found in Nylon Outfitters Tunic, Elephant. The main reason I picked this tunic is because of the color, what can I say I'm a sucker for pink/lavender hues. Nylon's Tunic feels soft and flowy. It highlights an asymmetric cut along the bottom of the dress which is perfect in living into the, "Spice" theme. I paired this spicy tunic with a pair of gold gladiator sandals from Pure shoes, a little treasure in my inventory. I hope you take the time to head over to Uber and pick up some spicy items of your own.

Today I'm showcasing some goodies that I recently acquired....and some are a bit naughty in nature. Let's start at the top and work our way down.

I picked up this wig from The Arcade gacha event. Clawtooth designed this beautiful side swept pony tail that includes flowers. Both the hair color and flowers are controlled by a Hud and can be changed to suit your styling needs.

I then headed to Collab88 and picked up this cute lingerie set from one of my long time favorite designers, Nylon Pinkney of Nylon Outfitters. I have been a fan of Nylon's creations since I first joined SL back in 2006/2007. I must own pretty close to everything she has created. This lingerie set I am wearing comes with both system layer clothing as well as appliers for the Maitreya body, which is a total plus for anyone who is switching to a mesh body.

Finally I made my way to the naughty part of SL and picked up a few things i found in Strawberry Singh's recent post. The Whore Couture Fair is currently showcasing some well made naughty clothing, poses, shoes, skins in SL. Since, I'm not particularity naughty (stop laughing) I didn't pick up too many goodies; however, I might go back and grab a few things for some upcoming photos.



Exposure, owned by RubyStarlight Writer, an awesome pose creator, designed a set of poses for the Red Light District. oooh yea, it's that naughty part of Amsterdam we hear so much about. I'm thrilled that Ruby made this set because it's a total dream come true. There are a 13 poses included in this set and multiple people can use it at once. I feel it will make for a really fun evening if I could get together a group of friends and TP in a guy or two for a photo shoot. It could make a great prop for a "Red light district" party.....hmmmm...that's a thought.

Last, but certainly not least are the gorgeous shoes designed by Duncan Giano. Open toes and long wooden heels...Aubrey is a combination of classy and sexy. They remind me of a pair of shoes I coveted during my late teens. The ones my mother wouldn't let me wear, but mamma if you could see me now in these heels.  Aubrey is available in 8 different colors and well worth the purchase. They work with several mesh bodies; Maitreya, Belleza, The Mesh Project even Slink feet.

As for today's post title, well....I have to admit I was tuning into my "Bells Booty" playlist, and Eminem's, "Ass like that"popped up while i was editing the photo.  (hides face in shame, I know) I will spare you the youtube link and musical lyrics for this post.

Vacation Time

Summer is here which means it's time to pack up your suitcase and head to the beach for some much needed rest and relaxation. For me planning seems to be the hardest part of any vacation. Deciding what to wear, what to bring and where to go. It's so stressful, but I guess that's the price to pay when your taking a week off.

Since we're planning a beach vacation I knew packing a swimsuit or several swimsuits would be necessary. Luckily, Boom has just released "Ellio", a new set of mix and match bikini separates. So I knew I would be packing these cuties in my inventory. "Ellio" is 256 mix and match separate bikini pieces so choosing from the entire set and picking only one bikini was going to be tough. In the end I choose a couple of bikini sets because when I purchased a full set I received a small discount. (Gotta love a bargain.) One thing I'd like to mention is each bikini set has tin-table tan lines included which help show off your glorious time on the beach and all the hard work you did on your tan.

Once we arrived at our beachy destination I got all dolled up ready to relax and play in my little Oasis, but wouldn't you know I had a little accident tripped and fell off my swing. Darn my klutzy nature. I think I'll just spend the rest of my vacation under an umbrella with a drink in my hand.

Mad Pink- 52 Weeks of Color-Week 20- Deep Pink

Every week I wait patiently for Mad Men to show. It's been a show I watch regularly since it first aired. I first became attracted to the show because it was in my favorite time period,  The 1960's. My love of retro fashion initially got me hooked, but now it's the characters and story lines that have continued to pull me in. A current favorite location featured on Mad Men is the Draper home. Ever since Megan sang the, "Zou Bisou Bisou" song I have wanted to step into that same scene. 

Fortunately, Trompe Loeil has made my Mad Men dreams come true with the NYC66 Skybox. The NYC66 is a replica of the Draper penthouse apartment. It's mesh and comes furnished with chairs, bar stools, dining room table, kitchen, couch and lights. The floor plan is exact to the Draper home and includes: An Entry Way, Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Terrace, Master Bedroom and Hallway. For extra personalization to give the NYC66 your special touch nine photo frames are scripted to allow your own photos. All furniture within the home are also scripted to allow you sit just by just clicking on each piece of furniture. The NYC66 is available at this month's Collabor88.

I also picked up a cute dress from Nylon Outfitters, Swinging Fringe Dress from Collabor88. This dress is fun to wear because it gives you beautiful movement as you shimmy and shake. I've been having a hard time changing my outfit since I tried on this dress. Which is quite unusual for me, because I usually change my outfit several times a week. It was also the perfect color to wear for Luna's 52 week of color challenge- Deep Pink. Next Color Challenge post is Lemon Chiffon.

52 Weeks Of Color- Week 17- Shuttle Gray

I decided to have a bit of fun with this color challenge and play on the wording of today's color. Shuttle Gray. The first images that came to mind were a space shuttle, traveling to far off lands and adventure.

I know I'm not wearing a real technical space suit, but I figured that since we're in Second Life I could get away with a bit more space fantasy. Today's look is more of a sexy Barberella/ Star Trek mix. It seems that I've lost my way and am no longer tethered to the space shuttle...Um Houston we do have a problem here. 

I think the next post I'll pick somewhere safe and comfortable to visit. Gotta keep myself grounded. :D

Finally working my way back to Luna's Color Challenge, Today is Sea Shell Peach. I might be a bit more of a cream color than peach today, but I figure it's close enough, right?

Collabor88 has a new line in this month. The Theme this month is DayDream, all items in the Collabor88 group are fantasy themed. I made my first trip though Collab88. (I usually visit every week until I have all the items I want.) I picked up two items from Collab88 today. Nylon Outfitters', Crochet Applique Dress in a Touch of Melon and Yummy's Featherweight Necklace. Both were too cute to not purchase on the first round.
