I Gatcha!

I've been having a lot of fun playing the Gatcha machines at the ALBERO Summer Gatcha Festival and let me tell you I'm LOVING IT!! Yesterday I had the chance to pick up these lovely goodies. Everything I am wearing is from the festival, with the exception of the body suit which I purchased during the 50L Fridays.

The house behind me is one that I have yet to do a proper review on due to my busy RL schedule. It's Niko from Abode and is designed quite wonderfully. It's going to be my next home so I will definitely be devoting an entire post to this beautiful structure.

Gurdy

I'm normally not the type of person that uses non human avatars, but Damien Fate's creations are the exceptions. Known for the uber cute Loco Pocos animal avatars, Damien has released some new avatars under the Planet Rokeden store. 

I actually find it quite fun to be a non-human avatar, I teleport from place to place in Second Life while singing a little tune. Gurdy made this task very easy. Gurdy reminds me of an RPG level character you would play and level up. As I roamed SL I wish I had a fireball or attack feature so my Gurdy would get enhanced powers or evolve. Gurdy's cute appearance and customization, are my favorite features. The Cowel, Pom Pom, and Dress are all changeable with a quick click from the HUD. Gurdy does not walk in sl but rather hovers above the ground. The wings flap in a rhythmic motion giving the gift of flight to this long eared cutie. 

I look forward to more animal arrivals from Damien Fate from either Loco Pocos or from Planet Rokeden. If you haven't stopped by Loco Pocos yet I highly suggest you visit there. Locos Pocos is having its two year celebration until August 1, 2010. There are some wonderful prizes and some great story lines games to complete.  It's a fun way to spend some time and to bring some friends for the hunt.

A Lack of Color

I've been experimenting a bit with my photos by introducing different wind light settings and photo editing techniques the result, photos with a lack of color. What prompted me to experiment a bit more in the photography area? Well it was all thanks to Trieste Minuet and her store, !BANG.

Trieste; who was kind enough to share "Beg for it!" (shown above), is one hell of a pose maker. This growing store has poses to accommodate females, males, couples and groups. My favorite out of the bunch is the couple poses. These poses really highlight the sweetness and sincerity between a couple. I picked up some of the poses today and will surly be using them on some upcoming posts. All pose sets are moderately priced around 150L. Quite a deal, Don't you think?



Wouldn't you know that as I was completing this post, !Bang released a new pose set "Hula Hoop" I totally couldn't pass this up and had to sneak in a photo of this summer fun set.

Bells Review Policy

This seems so formal to write an review policy, but I feel it's completely necessary due to the amount of time it takes to blog and the amazing generosity from creators that send the occasional review item my way. These guidelines are designed to help create a standard and provide consistently in my blogging technique.

Blogging:
I accept review copies and blog all items relating to the virtual world Second Life.
Clothes,Shoes, Hair, Skin, Poses and Animations, vehicles, furniture and homes, Animals and care, Special Events and locations of interest and people of interest.
Yes, I blog anything that relates to Second Life.

All items/Events will get blogged within Three to Four days of the item/notice given. I like to provide accurate reviews of the items and need time to complete a photo and write up.

All items will be seen on my flicker site and given tags, which will be sent to a minimum of three groups including the main Second Life flicker group.

I will also provide Slurls to stores that send review copies. These Slurls will be to the main store. If the store or designer has a blog I will include a link to the site.

Videos:
I also create machinima videos in addition to blogging. If you would like your item to be showcased in a machinima video please send a note card request. Videos will range in time from 30 Seconds-2 minutes depending on the amount of time my schedule permits. These videos take more time than blogging and as a result, I would prefer to have one week-two weeks to work on them.  Please have patience as this is a new process I am exploring.

Modeling:
I am available as a model for special events, and posters.
If you would like to use one of my existing photos please ask and provide proper credits, such as my name and a link to my blog and flicker stream.

Special notes:
Most items will get paired up with another designer to be presented in a look of the day; however, I can create an exclusive post upon requests.

I will take great consideration of all items given and apologize if the item/event you sent does not get blogged.

All blog posts will be related to a song, unless requested otherwise.

"Little Star"

This week at my RL job the PTB are making us work overtime, which is both a blessing and a curse at the same time.  Yay! for the extra money and job security, boo for the impact it has on my personal life. I've been sitting here at a loss for what to write about in this blog post. Tonight I have no words. I'm just going to post credits... smile and listen to the song "Little Star" by Stina while sipping on a glass of wine.
