Midnight Jazz

Earlier this week I had the great pleasure of meeting, Lorelai Bonetto, creator of Preptopia Mesh Fashion. We struck up a conversation and I got a chance to try on one of her creations, The Midnight Jazz Gown. Lorelai's gown is beautifully form fitted to highlight your curves. The name Midnight Jazz really suits this gown because it is so reminiscent of the old Hollywood glam era of the 1930's/1940's. It feels as if this gown is perfect for swaying to the jazz sounds under the moonlight. The Midnight Jazz Gown is available in 9 different color options and is available in a wide range of mesh sizes so it will be perfect to fit your shape. I'm so excited to see what Lorelai releases next, Her preppy mesh style is one of a kind and unique.

Glory Box

I recently rediscovered Portishead in my itunes and I cannot stop playing them. Something about the slow sway of Portishead's music that I enjoy. I think it's perfect for late evening when you want to be mellow and relax. One of my favorite songs by Portishead is, "Glory Box" so today's post is trying to capture the mood of that song. 

The look I am showcasing today came about in a serendipitous way. I was actually shopping for gowns when something caught my eye. When I saw Valentina E's, Not so Demure set, I knew it was something I would be blogging. I love the frilly part of this lingerie set because they are sheer yet still provide a little flirty coverage. Thankfully I had a pair of stockings available in my inventory which match this lingerie set almost perfectly.

There are a few other things which fell into place while creating this photo. The location, is a favorite spot I visit when I am going to take photos of this nature, Elysion Adult Lounge. This Sim feels as if it were always developing and changing because there is a new visually appealing scene to gaze upon.

Not Quite a Bunny

Today I am showcasing my Easter style. I managed to pick up a few new goodies and also dig into the depth my inventory to find today's treats. Let's first start with the location of where this photo was taken.

I recently rediscovered Happy Mood and I really do find that this sim is one that helps promote a happy state of mind. There are bight colors, loads of beautiful foliage and even cute critters around the area. It's just a lot of fun to wander around the sim and explore.  Let's take a peek at the items I am showcasing today, starting with the new and never been featured on my blog.

Hair- Eariler this week I discovered Magika's style, Crush and I absolutely adore it. The length is perfect and I love the soft waves that fall effortlessly around my shoulder area. If you haven't shopped Magika's hair before I suggest you stop in and pick up a style or two. The most recent styles are menu driven and come with a variety of color options.

I'm still learning about Mesh bodies in SL and making the transition between Mesh and system clothing, so the assortment of mesh accessories that I own is limited, so please excuse the scandalously clad styling of this dress.

Dress- One of my favorite shopping events, Uber had this little pink dress for sale from Tee*fy. It's no secret pink is my favorite color and I usually pick up most items that are this color. Tee*fy's dress is no exception to that rule. What I like most about this dress is the deatails on the belt. I love that if you zoom in closely you can see stitching as if it was crafted to perfection.

Blooming into Spring

I can confidently say that spring has made it's way to Texas. Which means brighter days and Sunshine. Spring happens to be one of my favorite seasons because of the bright hues that light up the world. Green grass, pretty flowers ....and yes, even rain all make the smile appear. Plus spring gives us an opportunity to rebuild ourselves and create new beginnings, another reason to enjoy the season.

Today's look is trying to capture the fun vibrant colors of the season. I picked up a few goodies this morning while exploring. Mainly, this Yellow skirt from Boom called, First Date.  I didn't realize how short it actually was and I felt slightly embarrassed seeing my legs exposed so I decided to pair it with slouchy socks. I also took a little trip back to Collab88 and picked up this cream colored sweater and heels. Just because I wanted to be a little cute today I decided to sport my cat ears. meow

I feel like I need training wheels or a Sherpa to help me at me moment, perhaps even a Guru. It's been a very long time since I have been open to meeting anyone in SL, for you know... dating/socializing. Where exactly does one meet someone in SL and how does a shy person work up the courage to talk with someone? I feel it can be extremely nerve wrecking just to get a, "Hello...how are you?" out there. Telling someone that you want to get to know them better and want some of their time.....almost impossible.

I suppose I'm not the best at letting someone know I have a little interest in them. There is always that fear of rejection or not wanting to become a nuisance to someone. I just would love to be able to connect on a little more personal level, perhaps share a dance and take just a little of their time.

Sunday Brunch, and wait...there is more.

I'm in a bit of a mood this Sunday, so I decided to whips up all sort of goodies for a sweet treat. so the question is....If I invited you over for Sunday brunch would you come?

Since today turned out to be an adventure filled day in SL I'm going to post a few more photos from my flickr stream. I originally intend to blog only the photo above about Sunday brunch but my evening turned into so much more when I arrived at the World Water Day, Funk Party.

In our society we tend to take something we consider very basic for granted, Clean water. however for many finding clean and safe water is difficult. it impacts their health and quality of life. The water charity helps bring water to people who need it. For every $20 (or L$5,000) that is raised, Charity: Water can give someone access to safe water for years to come. Past contributions have funded over 16,000 projects that impact about 5 million people worldwide.  That's pretty impressive.

now I know there is a lot of buzz right now in SL for RFL, but if you can manage to give just a little to the Charity: Water it will have such a big impact on people's lives. I hope you consider donating via the link below.

Four Leaf Clover

See, I've been thinking it over........It's all just a little too much.......You see I've got this four leaf clover.......It's gotta bring a little luck - Abra Moore- Four Leaf Clover

First off, my apologies for not having an abundance of 4 leaf clovers in this post. I didn't want to overwhelm with St. Paddy's day gear.

I'm not normally a girl with red hair but since it's St. Paddy's day, Why not? Today I'm pulling a little luck from a four leaf clover to mix and match items from my wardrobe.so let's talk a little bit about this look. I sill have a big love for Tee*fy's Kira Off-Shoulder Dress, which I picked up at Collab88. I've managed to pick up several different colors in this dress which means I totally adore it. At only 88L a pop it's been impossible not to pick up one for every mood that strikes. I'm also sporting one of my favorite wigs from Magika, Gone. I suppose I enjoy this style because it reminds me of my RL hair. (the color not so much) Finally, the headpiece I'm wearing is one I pulled from my inventory. It's an oldie but a goodie, it's from Piddle, and it's called Southern Comfort Headpiece. So here is my look for the day.
