People are Strange at Hallow Manor 2023

 Hallow Manor 2023 is approaching soon and I'm so happy that I get to be a blogger for this event. For those that are not familiar Hallow Manor is an annual event to showcase the dark side of SL. This is not a Halloween event although you will be able to find frightful items for this event. Hallow Manor's theme is  spooky, grotesque and macabre. I'm hoping I can bring a few scary posts for the season.

Hallow Manor will run from October 13th until November 1, 2023. 

Early Access to the event can be achieved by joining the Silly Llama Production or an Event Sponsor Group. Early Access opens 24 hours before the event opens from October 12 at 9am until October 13 at 9am. Join the Silly Llama update group in world or on Discord to stay up to date on the latest news.

Barbie Girl

 I'm super excited for all the Summer Blockbusters that are going to be released. I have several on my list and The Barbie Movie is definitely one that is on the top. So you can only imagine how my heart skipped a beat when I Tped into Collab88 and saw what this month's theme is. I managed to pick up so many goodies I've gone broke. no worries it was totally worth it. 

Today I'm sporting three items from this month's event. My earrings are from Nylon Outfitters. The Dolly Earrings are currently on sale during Collab88 so if your in the mood for something different and fun these earrings are a must have. Dolly earrings are customizable with 10 different head options and 9 different body options making the ability to showcase a unique look possible. 

The next item I'm showcasing is my dress from Tres Blah. I'm wearing the Audra Dress in pink. This dress features a deep swooped back which is one of my favorite parts of this dress. The second thing I love about this dress is the sleeve length. the sleeves run a little long covering the middle of each thumb. I think it gives this dress such a nice detail in realism.

Finally lets talk about poses and sets. FOXCITY has really gone all out with their Dollhouse Theatre. FOXCITY is actually one of my favorite places to get pose sets because there is such great attention to detail. They are totally on my first spots when shopping for a new post for the blog. I feel badly that I cant capture all the amazing little things that make this pose set so awesome. You really have to check it out for yourself. I actually made this my home theater for my HVID TV. I can't wait for movie night now. The only downfall is the inside chairs don't work but this can be fixed with pose sets.

I have purchased a few more things from this month's Collab88 which I will try to post this month.

Some days you gotta put on a little sparkle and get out there and shine. I picked up these treats a few weeks ago and had to wait until the Vintage fair was over so I could repost them. I spoke a little about Malena Von Dash (MVD) during the Vintage Fair but since then I've had time to visit MVD's main store. I'm super glad I did what I found was a treasure trove of upscale lingerie and retro accessories. I only found one other hair style at MVD and it's gorgeously sculpted. I'm currently having trouble buying the hair in store. SL just isn't kind to me, but I promise once I purchase it I will showcase it on the blog. 

Finally, I recently discovered a new store to me, Belle Epoque. Now Belle Epoque isn't a new store but its one I just suddenly discovered. I've been really drawn to the designs. they are the perfect fit of sexy and cute. The dress I'm wearing is from Belle Epoque and its on the fancy modest side of things. There are other items at the store that are a little more risque. Belle Epoque is also heavy on the freebies and reduced items. When I visited this week I found two separate in store hunts with reduced designs. 

I'm getting back into blogging for myself again which means you will see some more regular posts. I've got a photoshop membership again and I am looking to bring a more creative outlet into my life again.

Rock and Roll is Here to Stay

Today's look from the vintage fair is all about the color purple. I've been going through a purple fix recently. I don't know why I just like the color. I found a couple of items from the fair to complete my look. My makeup is from XTC, who created a set of brows, eye lines and lip sticks. I also paired ArisArisB&W's Vintage Rose shoes. They were perfect for pulling together the look. Finally, I'm using Tentation's Ruby Diner to give the Rock n Roll touch on this look.

Do you Belive in Magic?

I'm playing a little witchy with my look from Forest Fantasy Store. Forest Fantasy Store has created a set of Wizard looks for both male and female wizards. I love all the details that have been added to the set. Hat, halo, Robe and body suit all are part of the outfit. I'm also showcasing a set of eye makeup from Watercolor. Watercolor created a set of Jem eyeshadow which is so colorful it draws attention to your eyes. 

I have one more look ready to post soon with more goodies from the vintage fair. I'm so thrilled to be able to bring you these items.

Today's look is all about fun. I've been having so much fun posting items for the vintage fair and its almost over. le sad. Today I'm sporting Giggle Puppy's Vintage Blouse and it is so colorful and bright. I love it! I decided to pair it with a cute set of sneakers from ZFG. The Ashley Sneakers are super casual and make the look pop. So many great thing are available at the fair.

I really wanted to highlight MVD's hair with today's look. It is perfect for a vintage look. I really love this hair so I picked it up in every color for future blog usage. While I'm not wearing a skin from the fair I am wearing eyes and eyeliner from designers who created exclusive items for the fair. Mewly created a soft hand drawn set of eyes which bring charm to any look. BLD created a set of vintage eyeliners for the fair I'm wearing the bottom underliner.  I'm also showcasing one of the pose creators from the fair. Pink Moon created a set of poses titled, "What's in this drink?" 

The Vintage fair is open for a few more days (until the 19th) so if you haven't taken the time to look I strongly encourage you to TP and have a look.
