LL Has brought Sexy back to SL with the introduction of the new line of default avatars. The official LL Blog: You don't look good, We don't Look Good. Finally! New residents can emerge from orientation island looking hip and chic. The new avies are created by and assortment of SL top designers and fit the style needs of any discerning lady or gentlemen. Adam n' Eve, Wraith Unsung, Nylon Pinkney, Renegade Clothing and Grendel’s Children all have contributed to the new avatars. It's pretty remarkable that LL has decided to include these designers in beefing up their public image. It's clearly a step in the right direction. I can't wait to see what new defaults avatars are created after time, as well as the design talent LL chooses to include.

We opted to keep our normal Skin and shape so these avatars are not the typical default avatars. For a complete look at the default avatars in all their glory please click here.


Frankie and I picked some of the outfits from the new avatars to showcase here on the blog. First off is one of my favorite designers Nylon Pinkney! Here is the Club Girl and Gamer Guy outfits. By far one of the best designers in SL, Nylon know how to rock style with these two complete looks. Nylon's outfits can be mixed and matched and should be staples in any wardrobe. Well wait what am I saying, they are in your inventory so just pull them out and wear them.
Next is the designs of Adam N Eve, here is Club male and Girl next door. Frankie is wearing his trademark glasses in this picture and kinda resembles Clark Kent :) only I think hes a little cuter. Club male includes one key item men in SL seem to over look, their feet. At last! A pair of snazzy shoes available in all men's inventory. No excuses now men!

The girl next door look includes this cute pink dot dress and little black heels that can be paired with almost anything dressy. The hair style is not part of the complete look, It's actually from Armidi. I wasn't too fond of the default hair so I matched It with something that suited my personal style a little more.

Some of the default avatars are not even of the human species. Grendel's children has two cute unique avatars they contributed. Dragon and Boxy are a great alternative to the traditional male/female avatar. Even the Dragon or Box have helped bring SexyBack into SL.

I want to Live

I knew Princess had been talking about getting rid of her land and items for about two weeks now, but I didn't think she would actually go ahead with it. I thought perhaps she was speaking like we all do during that SL burnout phase, but no this time she was serious. I asked P why she was doing this, was she leaving SL for good? was she unhappy? Princess smiled and replied that she felt it was time to live in RL and make the move out of SL. She would still be around but would no longer have a home here in SL. Plus it was time to clean all the clutter from her inventory which is over 30k items. I asked how long will her sale would last? her startling response, "weeks, everything must go."

Seeing all of her possessions lined out across the sim, I got a little teary eyed. This was her entire Second Life (well at least what was transferable). For as long as I have known Princess she has had this love with creating the perfect home. Her partner MT sums it up by saying,"she just like to rezz". It seemed like Princess always had a new secret cottage, castle, or beach house she was decorating for. Oh and how could I forget they toys she would purchase.

Known for her infamous naked dungeon parties, princess has a huge collection of BDSM toys in her inventory a majority of them on sale. The most unusual item was the sex merry go round. (already sold) I imagine it's like having sex on Mr. Hefner's bed but without the girls and at a much higher risk for motion sickness. I lost track of the number of beds and pose balls I passed, 4 was my last count on beds before I saw something shiny and like a raccoon in headlights I lost my train of thought.

My eyes quickly spotted the thing I wanted most from her collection, the sign from our old club LIPS...ohh and this nifty pinball machine. I have been to other yard sales and this one had the largest collection of items I have seen. So if your wanting to try to find a deal take the tp and check out Princess's yard sale.

Feeling Good

Here it is in the middle of the night/early morning and I am still awake. Must be from the three cups of coffee I started drinking around Ten this evening. Well I made a promise that I would start writing more in the blog. Considering that it's already June and half the year is over, I figure it best to start actually working on that commitment now. :) So here is a shameless self promotion post about Bells Boutique and the new lingerie set Siren.

4 In The Morning

"U are my SL", that was all I needed to hear and in one instant my heart had both melted and was his again, (who are we kidding, It always was his). It was only one day apart and here we were sitting outside on the balcony cuddling trying to get past the hurt we caused one another. We talked about any issues we had with our partnership and agreed to give it one more try. how can you not try with someone that has become your confidant and one of your closest friends?

For me losing the partnership meant I wasn't losing a friend but rather losing all the mushy romantic ideas I had associated with him. The dream, the fantasy and in some way a part of myself. In the end we discovered that our friendship and attraction for one another, is worth preserving, worth having and very special... after all in this virtual world we belong to one another.

I'm also very happy and pleased to say that we have decided to renew our vows, so now it's time to start planning another wedding. :)

Erase and Rewind

There was no drama, only the issue of time not always on our side.
after knowing him for almost a year and a half I couldn't help but get to know the RL guy behind that avatar and falling for him hard. Now I'm left alone and filled with questions I cant answer; When is it time to end an SL relationship? Will the feelings you have for someone you once deemed special ever go away? Can you be friends with someone who was a lover?
My heart aches, the tears fall and I cant help but feel regret over it ending.

Mercy

Today I was a woman on a mission. I TPed to the Silent Sim with only one goal. Purchase the PhotoSphere I saw months ago and upgrade my photo studio. My current photo area is 8 prims and sits on top of my little store. Its ugly, crude but it has served it purpose until now. I don't expect to be a great photographer or anything. Lets face it I'm not really good at snapping photos or editing them.
Normally I am a girl on a budget,but I didn't even blink twice when I dropped 1500l for this item. Lets get into the break down of whats included in this little studio package. First its only 10 prims thats a big plus when your managing prims on your land. PhotoSphere also includes a spare lighting ball and empty pose ball for favorite poses. Perhaps the best feature the PhotoSphere has to offer is the 40 backgrounds that come pre-loaded into it. Additional backgrounds are available for 300l, and there is even the capability to customize and upload your own backgrounds. One thing very handy is the HUD driven controller for the backgrounds. Simple and easy to use the PhotoSphere Hud allows you to cycle thru background options and choose the best one for your subject.

There is a handy little Demo version of the PhotoSphere available at the store. Take the TP and head on over to try it out. I know you will soon fall under its spell and begging for mercy soon.

No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems

The Lexxocita Sim has a has changed and is now a beach! Perfect for summer. YAY! Lexxistential Deviances Beach Club, is one hot and sizzling club, filled with spots for cuddling and relaxing. Finally a place where I can work on my tan. :) Here is a mini tour of the new club.

The first thing I noticed was the bar, kicking off my shoes I hopped on a stool to enjoy a "cheeky monkey"one of the specialties at Lexxistential Deviances Beach club. After a couple of drinks I felt compelled to shake my grove thing on the dance floor. The tunes are always pumping and the staff is friendly, making Lexxistential Deviances feel like a second home at times.

After all that dancing I needed a place to relax and unwind, thankfully Lexxistential Deviances has a nice little hut where you can kick off your shoes. With the soothing sounds of the ocean only feet away this quiet little hut soon became my oasis.

Lexxistential Deviances beach club is open Friday - Monday from 7-9 PM slt. The Lexxocita Sim is home to Dreams Weddings, AA Designs Inc, Nightfire Animations and Sindy's shapes. Some extra goodies found on this Sim are a wish lamp with Genie, lucky chairs and prizes. Take the TP and head out to the club.
