I haven't been exploring SL lately. ( I know bad bells) Instead I've been creating up a storm. I made three new items this week, Jessica sweater, Ashlee sweater and Mugatu. As always these outfits are available at my store Bells Boutique and on slexchange. I do want to get back to exploring SL soon. If you know any cool places to visit send me an IM. I'm kinda in a rut where the only place I am spending time in world is at my home, this is a sign that I need to get out more.

Jessica and Ashlee are two sweaters named after a famous pair of sisters. They include the sweater in jacket form, prim sleeves, and a prim bell collar. These are a must for any winter wardrobe, they will keep you warm during those long nights. These sweaters are only 50l a pop. quite the steel at that price. Stop in and pick up both sweaters today.

The last outfit is Mugatu, for those that have not seen Zoolander the movie let me explain who Mugatu is. Mugatu is the villain from Zoolander. He is an evil fashion designer, who uses male models to assassinate world leaders. Mugatu also created the first piano necktie, and was the keyboardist for Frankie goes to Hollywood. I highly recommend seeing Zoolander if you havent seen it yet, It's funny and usually has me laughing after a bad day. Bells Mugatu includes: Flexi Piano skirt and a black backless turtleneck. Losing A Whole Year

Today is my Rezz day, which means I have spent a whole year playing Second Life. I started SL because my boyfriend was heavily into Warcraft. I never really was the kinda girl that liked quests or whatever else they do in that game. I heard about this thing called Second Life where people made and bought virtual items and talked with other people from all over the world. I was intrigued and became hooked after minutes of rezzing.


I will admit that things was very confusing at first. I spent about two hours at Orientation island trying to read all signs and tutorials that were posted all over. You know I never got that stupid beach ball to move. I wanted to learn as much as I could about Second Life, I attended all the classes that I could attend at NCI. I desperately wanted to shed that newbie skin. I guess thats one of the main reasons why I mentor, So many wonderful people helped me during that newbie phase and I will always be grateful and want to return the kindness to others.


This past year has been one of the roughest I had in RL, I know that I would not have been able handle all the crap life threw my way if it was not for my support system of friends that I made in SL. They were the ones that gave me advice and consoled me. We share our secrets and vent our frustrations to one another. These are the people that keep me laughing and logging into SL everyday. I know there is still more to learn about SL, more to explore and there will definitely be more shopping. I only hope that I can loose another year in SL.

Hem Of Your Garment

I was shocked to realize that It was already Friday (Sat by the time I finish writing this). Wow... the last couple of weeks have just flown by and are now one giant blur. Well I think its time to tell you what I have been doing. :)

First, the club I am part owner in reopened!! LIPS,was a club we had open a couple of months ago, but due to other demands we had to shut it down :( . After The GR closed, Princess, my best friend, saw that I was a sad and down. She suggested that we re open the club :) It feels good to be back in the club scene. I do need help,(dancers, host,dj ) if anyone wants a job or at least a regular place to hang out and listen to some music and talk IM me for more information. Were not in this for the Money, Fame, or Glory... we just want to have FUN! We try to have events from 12-2slt. I wish I could say this happens every day, but you have to remember that I can be a procrastinator and as Frankie called me this week, lazzy ass! I managed to make two new shirts for the club, Loose Lips Sink Ships in pink and blue, both are free at LIPS club stop by and pick up one.

I also spent a couple of days shut away from the world while I worked on new design for Bells Boutique's Holiday Line. Amber, Sapphire and Ruby are all available at the store until January.
They are only 75l a piece. They Include a first at Bells Boutique Fur Wraps. Don't worry I didn't actually hurt any real animals to make these, they are all faux fur :)

Private Eyes

There has been some buzz floating around Second Life for some time about CSI, the television show on CBS, running an episode where the actually go into SL to solve a crime. I personally do not watch CSI, but for a SL crossover I will definitely be watching, in fact my Tivo is already set to record it. :) Tonights show will include about 15 minutes of footage shoot in SL. The CSI team will follow a killer into SL. I don't want to spoil anything for people who want to participate in the CSI crime solving case, so I will only talk about the orientation. Even if you are a current user of SL you should go through the orientation, there is a HUD that you will need in order to solve the crimes. Click to Teleport to CSINY Orientation.

After collecting the evidence you take it to the lab to for analysis.

After analyzing the evidence you will receive your "Rookie Detective Badge".

The orientation was fun I felt like I was a real Detective trying to solve the crime. I did go to other parts of CSINY island, but I think i am going to let you explore them for yourself. :) Happy hunting Detective. ;)

Going Away to College

GO KSU!

College Life has come to Second Life in the form of KSU (Kindly State University). This is a Role Play Sim with all things college would offer. I was really excited to start at KSU. I applied early, so I could have access the minute it opened. This is my first time ever in a Role Play environment. I always wanted to try RP out, but the other Sims I ran across didn't seem like they would suit me. After all it wasn't that long that I roamed the halls of a college campus myself. :)

KSU is NOT open to the public, which is a good thing. This is to help avoid the stress from griefers, or any other problems that usually occur in public areas. In order to have access to the Sim and interact with other students you have to apply for entry. Yes, Just like RL college there are forms you have to fill out. KSU Application Form for students. After you have completed your application and sent it to the administrators at KSU, you will receive a group invite to join the access list. There is a tuition fee of 200l in order to become a member of this group. I only wish RL college was that cheap I have no student loans. :) BTW there is a faculty application as well if you would like to be a professor or any other staff member.

I even rented a dorm, so I could live on campus and avoid having to commute. The rooms are very small, but that's what college life is all about. The rent is 125l a week and you are allowed 50 prims. There are rules that one SHOULD follow, like no smoking, male visitors after hours and drinking. All I know is I didn't follow those rules when I was in college, In fact I stole the "No smoking in bed", sign that hung in my dorm room just for fun. (oh yeah i am bad to the bone, LOL)

Clothes We Wear

Update on Bells Boutique:
Well the girl in me came out last night. I changed my store back to pink. (LOL) I don't know if I will ever be satisfied with its design, but for the moment I am very happy. I have released 4 new items to the store since the last blog on Bells Boutique. Victoria, Isabella, Canary and a new paw tattoo are all available at the store.

I have added these items to SL Exchange. My friend Ginthian Source, has been telling me for months that I needed to use that site for gifts, and to help increase traffic. What can I say G, I am lazy. :) If your not a member of my group Bells Belles you might want to join it. It's handy for new releases, and freebies.


Victoria has been inspired after the lovely Mrs. Beckham. It includes:White button down shirt with prim sleeves and collar. The pink leather skirt comes with a pair of glitch pants so you will never get caught showing your knickers :) The brown belt is also included. The outfit is 50l


Isabella is classy and graceful. The Black top has a gold fishnet panel, and gold buttons along the back(not shown) and prim sleeves. It includes a black skirt with gold trim and optional Flexi fishnet bottom. As an extra bonus I have added black pants for an additional look. Isabella is 75l


Warning: This outfit will get you noticed. Canary is fun, cheerful and just a tad sexy. Its my take on the kimono. Canary includes two tops. One without an undershirt for when your feeling a little adventurous, and one with a white undershirt for a bit of modesty (not shown). Prim sleeves are also included. Do I see a new trend? (lol) I have tried something different for the skirt. Its actually made from a pair of pants and then prims have been added to give the skirt feel. So don't worry ladies, you can feel free to show off those fabulous legs. Canary is 50l Tweet, Tweet!!


Last is my paws tattoo. I have been wanting to experiment with making tattoos for a little while now and this is my first attempt. I made paw prints similar to the ones that a certain female rapper wears. :D One of my biggest pet peeves is trying to choose between wearing either a tattoo or lingerie. I like to wear both and often lingerie is only available in the undershirt/underpants feature and for some odd reason tattoos are the same way. My tattoos will be released in all clothing options possible. Paws comes with an undershirt, shirt, and jacket. Everyone in the Bells Belles group received it for free. I am starting to charge 1l for new "freebies" just to help pay for new texture uploads. :)

Closing Time

I nearly cried when I read the notice about The Gin Rummy Closing for business. If you want to find out more details about its closing visit Erbo Evans and Danielle Ferguson, they say it best.

I first want to say that I will be forever thankful to these two. Dani and Erbo were always kind, showed patience and made working at the GR a fun experience. I learned a lot from them, things inside SL to RL stuff as well. I always looked forward to hearing either one of them DJ. Erbo's larger than life voice and Dani's sultry sound soon became familiar to me. There has been several times when a song would be played and I would ask,"Who sings that?" and then make a mad dash to limewire. :)

For almost as long as I have existed in SL the Gin Rummy was a part of my life. The GR was one of the most organized clubs I ever had the pleasure of working at. It was clear that a lot of thought, energy, time and money had been invested in keeping the GR alive. I was hired when I was a newbie just learning the ropes in SL. I had bad hair, bad skin and I was extremely shy. I held two positions in the time I was employed there. I was a dancer and a host. What first attracted me to the GR was its No Nudity rule. ( See I told ya I am shy) So even when I was a dancer, I kept my SL virtue intact :) The events were fun themed and original, I loved spending time looking for outfits to match the event of the night.

I made several friends while working at the GR. I knew that after a hard day I could venture off to a small part of SL that was drama free. I could forget my problems, hear awesome music and enjoy talking with great people.
