The Lexxocita Sim has a has changed and is now a beach! Perfect for summer. YAY! Lexxistential Deviances Beach Club, is one hot and sizzling club, filled with spots for cuddling and relaxing. Finally a place where I can work on my tan. :) Here is a mini tour of the new club.

The first thing I noticed was the bar, kicking off my shoes I hopped on a stool to enjoy a "cheeky monkey"one of the specialties at Lexxistential Deviances Beach club. After a couple of drinks I felt compelled to shake my grove thing on the dance floor. The tunes are always pumping and the staff is friendly, making Lexxistential Deviances feel like a second home at times.

After all that dancing I needed a place to relax and unwind, thankfully Lexxistential Deviances has a nice little hut where you can kick off your shoes. With the soothing sounds of the ocean only feet away this quiet little hut soon became my oasis.

Lexxistential Deviances beach club is open Friday - Monday from 7-9 PM slt. The Lexxocita Sim is home to Dreams Weddings, AA Designs Inc, Nightfire Animations and Sindy's shapes. Some extra goodies found on this Sim are a wish lamp with Genie, lucky chairs and prizes. Take the TP and head out to the club.

Stand By Me

Last Week My grandmother lost her fight with cancer. This has been a very difficult time for my family. We all loved my grandmother so much and feel she was taken from us too soon.

Easter weekend my family and I took a trip to a little church in San Juan, Texas for my grandmother. My grandmother seemed as if she was in good spirits at the time, laughing and sharing stories of the past with me. She expressed how grateful she was to have this chance to visit her favorite church, and shared her concerns over the fact her chemotherapy was not working and radiation was supposed to start soon. She was scared, but we all kept encouraging her to move froward since she was already making progress and the cancer was no longer in her bones. We refused to let her give up. During our trip I told her about the fashion show I was going to be in that Saturday for Relay for Life. I told her I was going to be working the runway for her, in her honor, because she was not going thru this alone. We hugged one another inside the church and prayed together for one last time. These are the last memmories I shared with my grannie, She always made our moments so special. She was more than a grandmother to me, She was my mom and friend.

I have spoken a little about Cancer awareness in the virtual world last year on my blog and was even asked to write a little article about it for theKonstrukt. So seeing how It's now Relay for Life season in SL again, I want to ask you to please make a donation to the American Cancer Society by clicking on those purple Kiosks you will see around SL. Lets make a stand together as a community and for all who have fought and are still fighting against cancer. This is not something one person can do alone and your support gives strength to others who might need it the most.

I will take a couple of weeks away from SL to get some things in order with my family. Thank you for all your support.

Glitter and Gold

After 80's night I became all nostalgic and decided to look up youtube videos of Jem and the Holograms. Jem was awesome! pink hair, hott boyfriend (snickers), and a girl rock band that was truly outrageous. Watch the video and take a trip back into time when Big hair and metal bands ruled the world.



After reminiscing I thought it would be fun to create a dress inspired by the video. I found myself humming the glitter and gold tune while I was creating this dress. Glitter and gold includes: prim sleeves and collar, fur boa, prim bow, top skirt and glitch pants.

I am having a little sale for this outfit. For the next two days that's Thursday and Friday I will be selling this outfit for only 1 linden. After that Glitter and Gold will be 75l. ohhh before I forget, this weekend at the LD we are having some great events. The contest boards will be at 1000l on both Friday and Saturday, Sun and Mon 500l you know you wanna come out and chill with us. Event times are Friday-Monday 7-9 slt.

So I have been jamming out to Lily Allen all weekend and I cant get this song out of my head, thus the name of this post. I am a big fan of Lily Allen, especially this song. Now for your weekend update

First off the new club Lexxistential Deviances opened on Friday and it was a totally 80riffic night! the contest prize was at 2000l and there was enough leg warmers and bangles for everyone! I was shaking it on the main stage along with fellow dancers, Abel Bellios, AuroraJ Whitfield and Cudgell Nitely. Once again I left my camera at home, so I didn't get any photos. This just mean you have to TP in to the club and check it out first hand. Events are Friday-Monday 7-9slt pm. I usually hang out most nights even if I am not working. What can I say ......I love this club.

Also I finally learned what Semyorka is, thanks to Frankie. Semyorka is...its the number 7, in Russian! The R-7 Semyorka was the first intercontinental ballistic missile back during the cold war. I guess I should start living up to my dangerous surname and become a weapon of mass destruction, hmmm on second thought, maybe not. I kinda like to be the sweet girl. for more info on the R-7 Semyorka check out my friend Wikipedia.

A group of us dancers went shopping this weekend at Casa Del Shai and Zev Bellios found a blog worthy dress. Zev has a great eye for finding the perfect outfit, asking for her advice was the best thing cause I would have actually missed this dress on the roof of the store. The Boracay Sun dress is filled with beautiful colors of red and orange remind me of a perfect sunset. I want this dress in RL *pouts and sighs* Boracay left me with the " I have nothing to wear" feeling, I cant think of another thing in my inventory that makes me feel fun, flirty and sexy all at once.

Hit it!.........This ain't no disco.....It ain't no country club either......This is LA!

Well not LA, but its Lexxotica, a brand spanking new sim. This Sim is wonderful because its now home to high-class strip club, Lexxistential Deviances! wait.. there's more..Lexxotica also has parcels of land for sale, and vendor spots for rent in their new mall. (Looks like its time to go shopping again:)!!) Eight residential parcels of 4096 sq.m., are available for only L$35k a plot, with a land tier of only 3,500 per 2 weeks. Lexxistential Deviances events are scheduled Friday- Monday from 7-9slt. Guess what?! They are hiring Dancer/Escorts, Hosts/Hostesses and DJS. I can tell you from personal experience that working for the LD management, is always a pleasure. If your looking for a no drama atmosphere where you are treated with both kindness and respect this is the place for you. I can only begin to imagine what fun opening night will be. :) I hope you will stop in and party with us.

Friday night started off with a bang at KSU's open house. If you haven't checked out KSU yet you are surly missing out. The role play Sim opened its doors by allowing temporary access to guests who joined the group KSU Guests for the weekend. Delta Sister,TheDiva Rockin was playing some booty shaking tunes. Since I didn't take any pictures here is a link to the KSU flicker page. As you can see from the photos the party went on until the early morning.

PERSONA outfit

The Valentine/Anti Valentine scavenger hunt started in the wee hours of Saturday Feb 9th. I received a note card about this event from one of my trusty groups "Mental Mentors". The grid wide hunt began at 1am slt, which is 2 hours behind central time; making it around 3am when I started the hunt. I was awake most of the night hunting before I finally started to lose consciousness in front of my computer and crawled to bed.

The hunt began in one central location and instructions were given to purchase one of the dozen boxes lined out in front of us. a note card filled with LMs to different stores popped open on my screen. I was in awe at the number of stores that pulled together for this event, yet another example of how SL is a community. Every establishment on the note card had quality items meticulously hidden within thier store. The only catch... the locations of the boxes would move thought the day, making it harder to keep track of these treasures. Some of these hiding spots were really good, in fact in some of the larger stores I just gave up. *coughs, lazy ass* I'm sure I probably missed out on some great items. My favorites items from the treasure hunt include a heart necklace with matching earrings from Caroline's Jewelry, a complete outfit from PERSONA and couple animation form ANIMAH.

It felt like Sunday came out of nowhere! I started off my day by DJing at the CDS ball in Schloss. The residents of CDS danced and celebrated the fact that the elections were now officially over! Yay! we started off with some words from our Chancellor, Alexicon Kurka, after that it was full party mode ...well after the traditional waltz was out of the way.

the cherry that topped of the weekend was getting a chance to tour the new sim Lexxocita, This deserves an entire new posting, so keep your peepers open for the next entry.
